Brookline is holding a local election on May 7, with 18 residents running for town positions like Select Board, School Committee, Moderator and Town Clerk, and hundreds more for seats in Town Meeting.
Brookline.News will be publishing an election special edition on Monday, April 29 with interviews and information about the key races, and residents can also learn more about candidates in their precinct from the League of Women Voters’ online guide.
Residents must register with the town (online or by mail) by April 27 in order to vote. Here are the different ways to vote:
In-person early voting
Registered voters can cast their ballots early in-person each day between Saturday, April 27 and Friday, May 3. To see the locations and schedule for early voting, click here to visit the town website.
Mail-in voting
All registered voters are eligible to vote by mail. To do so, residents must submit a vote-by-mail application to the town clerk’s office by April 30 at 5 p.m. Applications can be submitted by mail, in person at the clerk’s office at Town Hall, in a ballot drop box at three locations across town, or by emailing the signed application to townclerk@brooklinema.gov. In person on Election Day
