RE: MBTA’s Green Line accessibility project will consolidate stops in Brookline

Considering the number of elderly and handicapped residents that reside at 1550 Beacon St., It would seem to make the most sense to put access to the Fairbanks/Brandon Hall stop closer to that building, not further away.
What use are the accessibility improvements for getting to and from the tracks to the north side of Beacon, if the walk to the station is longer than it is now, for the majority of those who need improved accessibility?
